Texas Flying Club members buy a share in the club and fly its aircraft at cost. You are not renting, and no margin goes to a flight school.

On the buy-in
The $500 buy-in is a one-time cost of joining, not a refundable deposit. It is what buys your share in the club, and it is not returned if you leave.
Our Aircraft
Our planes have excellent availability. You can expect to book same-day if flying during the week. Weekends can be reserved a week or two out.
Who can join
Anyone from student pilot through ATP. You do not need a certificate to join. Many members start their training with us. You’ll need a checkout with one of our instructors before flying club aircraft solo.

Read the club documents
Our By-Laws, Policy and Procedures, and Aircraft Operating Rules tell you how the club actually runs. Read them before you commit. They are the rules all of us must abide by.
Send us your paperwork
We'll email you a secure upload link. You'll need your completed Membership Application, New Member Agreement, and Liability Waiver, plus copies of your driver's license, pilot certificate, and medical certificate (whichever you hold). Download the forms from our Documents page.
We review and set up your account
The Membership Coordinator reviews your paperwork and invites you to Flight Schedule Pro, our scheduling system.
Add a payment method, then pay your buy-in
Add a payment method first when you set up Flight Schedule Pro. Your $500 buy-in is then billed through FSP, and your $100 monthly dues begin the first of the following month.
Fly with an instructor
Schedule a checkout flight in the aircraft you want to fly. Once your instructor signs you off, you can book that airplane whenever you like.
